Scuba Diving Conditions
- Visibility: Expect fantastic visibility ranging from 30 - 65 feet in the dry season (Dec-May) and 10 - 40 feet in the rainy season (Jun-Nov), thanks to the nutrient-rich waters.
- Water Temperature: With consistent temperatures from the mid 70’s to low 80’s°F year-round, a 3mm wetsuit (full or shorty) is ideal for protection.
- Dive Depth: Our average dive depths range from 40 to 80 feet, providing optimal conditions for both beginner and advanced divers.
Marine Life You’ll Encounter
The Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica boasts a rich marine ecosystem, including vibrant schools of Snapper, Jacks, and Grunts, as well as reef favorites like Angel Fish, Moorish Idols, Surgeon Fish, and Giant Damsel Fish. You'll also encounter Octopus, Eels, Crustaceans, and in season, Humpback Whales and Manta Rays (Dec-Apr).
